What Are Roseview Windows?
Roseview is a British window manufacturer based in Olney, Buckinghamshire, and the UK’s longest-established specialist in uPVC sash windows, having dedicated itself to the product since 1985. The Rose Collection, their signature range, replicates the look of traditional timber sliding sash windows in low-maintenance uPVC, with each sash tilting inwards for easy cleaning from inside the home. Windows are offered across three tiers, Charisma Rose, Heritage Rose and Ultimate Rose, with each step up delivering closer timber replication, finer detail and stronger conservation credentials. Every window in the range is PAS 24 compliant and independently tested, so the performance and authenticity you are shown is the performance and authenticity you receive.
Bowalker installs and replaces the full Rose Collection across Sussex and Surrey, including the conservation-grade Ultimate Rose, the classically styled Heritage Rose and the versatile Charisma Rose. Where a project calls for it, we can also supply Roseview’s Incarnation secondary glazing, which improves thermal and acoustic performance without removing the original windows.
Forty years of dedicated manufacturing, independently proven
Roseview has specialised in uPVC sash windows since 1985, longer than any other UK manufacturer. PAS 24 compliance and Secured by Design accreditation back every window with tested, verified performance.
Honest specification through star ratings
The Charisma, Heritage and Ultimate Rose models match the right window to each home, whether the priority is budget, period authenticity or full conservation-grade approval, without overselling what a property actually needs.
The right window for period and protected properties
Sussex and Surrey have a high density of Victorian, Edwardian and conservation-area homes. Roseview’s Rose Collection is accepted in conservation areas across the UK, and we know how to specify it correctly for properties where planning and aesthetics both matter.
No subcontractors, ever
Our own advisers, surveyors and installers quote and complete every job, so the people who specify your windows are the people who fit them.
Why Bowalker Installs Roseview Windows?
We do not fit other companies’ products, and we do not install every brand we are asked to. We choose the systems we would be happy to put in our own homes, and Roseview earns its place for a few clear reasons:
It is an approach our customers have rated ‘Excellent’ on Google and 9.9 on Checkatrade, and one we will not compromise on.
Roseview Window Styles Available from Bowalker
Qfort’s windows are all aluminium and graded on the star system, so you can match the performance to your home rather than paying for more than you need.
The window options Bowalker installs are:
Ultimate Rose
Roseview’s conservation-grade flagship, built with mechanical joints, a 35mm midrail, run-through horns and external putty lines that make it near-indistinguishable from original timber. The right choice for listed buildings, conservation areas and period properties where authenticity is non-negotiable.
Heritage Window
A classically styled sash window with a deep bottom rail, flat run-through horns and traditional chamfered astragal bars, accepted in conservation areas across the UK and suited to Victorian and Edwardian homes where a close timber likeness matters without the full conservation-grade specification.
Charisma Rose
Roseview’s most accessible sash window, combining traditional ovolo detailing with modern thermal and security performance. A practical, A-rated replacement for failing timber or older uPVC sash windows across a wide range of property types.
Looking beyond windows, we also fit Roseview’s Incarnation secondary glazing, which improves thermal insulation, reduces noise and strengthens security without removing the original windows, making it the right solution for listed buildings and properties where the existing frames must be retained.
Colour and Finish Options Available
Because Roseview’s windows are uPVC finished in-house using premium Renolit foils, the colour is bonded into the surface rather than painted on, so it will not fade, flake or need repainting over its lifetime. White is the standard, but the range runs considerably wider, and finishes can be specified differently inside and outside, so the windows can suit both your interior and your kerb appeal at the same time.
The finishes Bowalker can supply include:
Woodgrain foils
A range of realistic timber-effect finishes, including White Ash, Cream, Golden Oak and Rosewood, heat-bonded to the frame for an authentic grain texture that ages without maintenance.
Matt Chalk
An exclusive finish available on the Ultimate Rose, replicating the look of freshly painted timber for period and conservation properties where a smooth, matte white is the most authentic choice.
RAL Spray Colours
Any RAL colour applied by factory spray during manufacture, for projects where a specific shade is needed that falls outside the standard foil range.
Finishes are arranged into pricing groups, so specialist colours and woodgrains sit slightly above the standard white. We will set out exactly where your chosen finish falls when we quote. Whichever you pick, we match it consistently across every window in the property for a unified result.
Performance and Features of Roseview Windows
Roseview builds its windows to a measured standard rather than a vague promise, and the Rose Collection’s A-rated performance is the simplest way to see it. Every window in the range carries a standard U-value of 1.5 W/m²K, upgradeable to 1.4 W/m²K with a glass change, and the Heritage and Ultimate Rose go further still with ThermoVFlex, Roseview’s patented profile technology developed with REHAU, which achieves a certified 1.2 W/m²K without the cost, weight or practical restrictions of triple glazing. That lets us specify exactly the right level of performance for each project, as a modern new build and a draughty Victorian terrace do not always need the same window.
Across the range, the features Bowalker can specify include:
- Warmth and lower bills: A-rated glazing and thermally efficient uPVC profiles keep heat in, so rooms feel warmer and your boiler works less hard.
- ThermoVFlex thermal upgrade: Available on Heritage and Ultimate Rose, this patented profile enhancement reaches a certified 1.2 W/m²K U-value without specialist glass, keeping astragal bars and period detailing fully intact.
- Quieter rooms: Double glazing as standard noticeably reduces traffic and street noise, a particular benefit when replacing single-glazed original sash windows.
- Tested security: PAS 24 compliance and Secured by Design accreditation across the range, the standard that satisfies new-build, Part Q and insurance requirements.
- Inward tilting sashes: Both sashes tilt inwards on every model in the Rose Collection, so the outside of the glass can be cleaned safely from inside the home.
- Conservation area suitability: The Heritage and Ultimate Rose are accepted in conservation areas across the UK, with planning approvals backed by Roseview's long-standing relationships with conservation officers and English Heritage.
- A choice of glass: Obscure and decorative options for bathrooms and privacy, alongside clear units, specified to suit each room.
Replacing Your Windows with Roseview
If your sash windows let in draughts, mist up between the panes or no longer run smoothly in their frames, replacing them is usually more cost-effective than repeated repairs or repainting cycles. The tell-tale signs that a sash window has reached the end of its working life include:
Bowalker replaces tired timber sash windows throughout the home with Roseview’s Rose Collection, matching the new frames to your property’s period character and planning requirements, including conservation area and listed building projects where authenticity is not optional. Every replacement is surveyed and fitted by our in-house team, and the old windows are removed and taken away on completion, leaving a warmer, quieter and more secure home that looks exactly as it should.
Draughts, or rooms that feel cold near the windows
Condensation or misting trapped between the panes of glass
Sashes that stick, drop or no longer stay open without a sash lift
Swollen, warped or rotten timber frames
Rattling in the wind or audible draughts around the sashes
Heating bills that keep creeping up
Warranty: Two Layers of Protection
New windows are a long-term investment, so it is worth knowing exactly who stands behind them. With Bowalker, you are covered on two fronts, the product and the fitting, by two separate guarantees.
In practice, both the manufacturer and the installer are accountable, and you have it in writing from each of them. It is the same cover we put behind every installation, and one of the reasons our customers return to us and recommend us years after the job is done.
Roseview product warranty
Roseview guarantees the window itself, including the frame, hardware and sealed glazing units, against manufacturing faults, so any issue with the product is the manufacturer’s responsibility to put right.
Bowalker's 10-year installation guarantee
We guarantee our own workmanship for 10 years, and that guarantee is insurance-backed. An independent insurer underwrites it, so your cover stands even in the unlikely event we were no longer trading, a level of protection a verbal promise cannot match.
Real Installations: Before and After
The best measure of any window is the difference it makes on a real home, not in a brochure. The gallery below shows Roseview installations our own team has carried out across Sussex and Surrey, the same homes before we started and after we had finished, so you can judge the change for yourself.
